Alright... so I have had a VERY busy semester with studio classes, final portfolios, and client work.
I probably spent around 150-200 hours in photoshop this semester alone...
My wacom tablet is now like a 11th finger it's so attached to me.
But anyway... It's monday night And I just posted like, a semester worth of artwork in half and hour!

Deadbeat funk is junk

I'm exhausted, hope you all enjoy it deviants! I have gained alot of experiences this semester and it wouldn't have been possible
without all those great photographers and Artists who influenced my style and set the bar so awesomely far up!
But with all this experience.. I still consider myself at level 1 (name of an earlier peice I did) and step forward each day with renewed ambition!

Putting up new content today folks. I've always enjoyed filling up my sketchbook so starting over thanksgiving break I will be scanning line art from my sketchbook
and submitting it. some with photoshop and some straight up.
As far as improvement goes... I need to study reference photos more to create photoshop portraits I think it would really help anatomy wise.
Oh and starting next semester I'm taking life drawing, really excited about that.
Whenever it's 4AM and I have been staring at my work for so long i forgot what to do with it there is a moment when i have to step back from it and
take a breath. however during the process of creating the process there is a sense of improvement running through my veins.
I'ts like I am only fully enjoying art when i am so submersed in the process that it becomes subconcious.
to tell the truth I usually don't plan out my pieces. they just come from staring at favorite new artists galleries for hours a day.

For a very long time I have been hoarding new work from DA so im going to post newer work from here on in.
It's hard to let my artwork be seen by the world so you must understand how shy it is...
it's never seen the light of day, or criticism.

these days life has a way of getting in the way of living.
Perhaps if all my graphic design hw was finished i could create some art...
but as usual the best inspiration comes when i need to do something mundane
and necessary for the completion of arbitrary tasks. ugh.
ps if anyone didn't already know... Pandora combines beautifully with procrastination.
like now for example. If you don't believe me just try it.
find awesome station.
open like 8 new tabs....
then forgot what you were doing 5 hours ago.
